About Me

Hello, I’m Siddharth Godbole. I live in Pune, India with my family.

I’m a Technical Architect with 20 years of experience in enterprise software engineering. I specialize in backend platform architecture, large-scale distributed systems, and — more recently — AI/ML and agentic systems in the cybersecurity domain.

Currently I lead backend engineering and AI/ML strategy at RedSeal, where I work on SaaS platform migration, microservices design, observability infrastructure, and building autonomous AI agents using LangGraph and MCP. Before RedSeal, I spent nine years at Symantec (later Accenture Security) working on managed security services — monitoring systems processing 150B+ log lines/day, AWS cloud migrations, and Spark-based UEBA analytics across 12B events/day.

I started my programming journey with C, moved to Java (which has been my primary language for two decades), and have since picked up Python, Go, and most recently the GenAI/LLM toolchain. I hold an AWS Solutions Architect certification and am currently pursuing a certificate in Applied Generative AI from Johns Hopkins University.

I’m passionate about building software that works at scale and solving real-world problems — whether that’s through well-designed backend systems or AI agents that can reason about security posture autonomously.

I have been swimming my entire life, mainly to cool my boots!
